Roll 'Em
Here I am many many moons later, finding myself in the same exact spot I was when I started this blog. The day is new, the blog has a new name, but dear reader, the blogger is still the same. Still lost in the same labyrinth of confusion from trying to decide what to do. My mind has become a tangled mass of brightly colored ribbons and threads balled up in an extremely frustrating knot. I cannot make up my mind which thread to follow to get to an end! Frustration!!!!
Thank goodness I read! Where else would I have gotten the idea to finally untangle the massive swirl of wonderful zany thoughts and ideas out of my pink matter and into my world???? I first read about The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart from a UK library website (no longer up). What is it about? A psychiatrist who makes all of his decisions based on a roll of the die. He eventually loses his family, his job, his life, to the cube. I will not be so dramatic or drastic. I will just be using the dice to make a decision about WHAT I will do first then next then after that. I wrote down 6 categories~cooking, creating, projects, traveling, socializing, and cleaning out. Stimulating, I know. But THAT is what is swimming around in my head. I listed 6 things under each category. Now I don't have to think about it, fret about it, wonder what about it, I will just go with the roll of the die. Let's see how much I get done before I lose the cube!!

Goal 2 (Finally!!)
Week 8 brought changes. Welcome changes! It was a proud moment to slip off bracelet one and add on the second. Resting on my laurels??? NO WAY! Time to push it further.
I am winding down to the end of the Body for Life challenge and am looking towards the what next? P90X looks like an option. I have one 5k under my belt and have signed up for a new one next month.
I am actively talking about what I'm doing now (like I can keep my mouth shut) and it has made me stick to my workouts even more so. I have kept up my journal and my whole focus on taking care of myself has changed. It has been an enlightening experience.
I still struggle with being creative. The days tend to slip by what with everything that goes on, and bam! I've missed a month. I so much enjoyed living artfully, but it seems like soooo long ago. Now that I've established some healthy habits, maybe I can pick up my habit of grabbing my art bag of tricks as I head out the door. I have a chance to possibly publish an ebook, but I want to watercolor the illustrations beforehand. Sounds like I already have a project in my sites.

Working On It
It's day 32 of my 84 day challenge. Still have my Goal Patrol bracelet on. Still, unforturnately on goal one...
I was shocked to see I had not met my goal because I had worked so hard! The scale was NOT my friend, however. I took a big huffy breath, let it out, and went back over my exercise journal to see what I needed to work on. The only things I can think to fix are the amount of food I eat. I am not eating enough! Must be holding on to fat because I think I'm starving myself. I also won't build any muscle.
I"ve added more protein and definitely more fruit and veggies. I'm keeping up the workouts and am starting to step up the weights. Time to push a little harder see what I can do.
